Why Tasmania?
Did you know Australia had its very own island state? Well it does. The island state of Tasmania lies just off the southern coast of the great Land Down Under...Australia!!!!!
My family and I moved to here in 2009, and I love it!!!
It's also known as the natural state so called because of its large amount of unspoiled natural environment. Almost 37% of the island lies in reserves, national parks and World Heritage Sites. Some other names include, the Apple Isle, Holiday Isle the "Island of Inspiration", as well as Tassie.
You may also know of it by having heard of the infamous Tasmanian Devil.
This Apple Isle offers a wide variety of things to keep you entertained. There are numerous beaches, which my family and I take advantage of often. As well as great places to eat, and tons of friendly people to meet.
So "Why Not?"
